So why is this called a “convertible” kayak? The reason is that it can be set up as a double kayak or place the seat in the middle, a solo kayak. This brilliant design comes standard with inflatable backrest seats and a drop stitch floor for incredible stability.
Its paddling performance is as good if not better than most plastic hard shell kayaks. The versatile open deck can be closed with optional deck covers. Then you are also able to use a kayak skirt in colder weather. The convertible Advanced Frame kayak has aluminium rib-frame technology in the bow and stern plus a skeg to help trackability.
